A beautiful holiday villa close to Selinunte
Selinunte and the archaeological park - Selinunte, from the greek selinon (wild parsley) is situated on the south west coast of Sicily. Is especially known for its archaeological park, the most big in europe, where is possible to admire the greek temples. In the border between Castelvetrano, hamlet known for the production of wine and especially olive oil, and Selinunte, a few meters from the archaeological park there is this unique villa, which stands on a property of 14.000 SQM, set in a olive grove and a vast vineyard. All enriched by a wider roman pool (7 m x 14 m) with patio, bar area, and a large barbecue area where your lunch will be cheeredby the sent of apple trees, pears, plums and lemons. Already from the balconies of the villa you can admire the beauty of the temples in the distance, and the vastness of the sea.

A place full of history - the archaeological park of selinunte has a rich acropolis and various temples of different sizes, dedicated among others to the goddess athena and the god apollo. You will enjoy a jorney into the past rich of history, art and battles.
In Marsala, in the island of Mozia, in just 35 minutes by car it’s possible to visit the remains of the punic ships, or soak in the hot termal waters to Sambuca (Agrigento, more than 100km). Also, near the quiet beach of selinunte there is a small port where fishermen bring the fish auction.
